One more noose for a Kashmiri

Ashok Kumar's film 'Kanoon' had created a lot of sensation in India and it led to stoppage of hanging the guilty.After a while, the government began the capital punishment again. Maqbool Bhat, Ajmal Kasab, Afzal Guru, Yakub Memon etc were hanged. Now one Kashmiri is going to be hanged in the movie, 'Chinar – Daastaan-E-Ishq'. Made under the banner of 'Shagun Films Private Ltd', the producer is Rajesh R Jain and the director is Sharique Minhaj. The movie is scheduled to be released on 16th October 2015. Amir Khan's brother Faissal Khan is making a comeback in the movie.

 

Producer Rajesh Jain and Director Sharique Minhaj say, "The movie shows hanging of a Kashmiri. For some years the hangings were stopped but it has made a comeback.It shows that we have left the values given by Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. We are moving towards dictatorship like the British, which hanged Shahid Bhagat Singh, Rajguru etc."
