This is to confirm that Padma Vibhushan Gaan Saraswati Kishoritai Amonkar is going to receive 16th Uttam Vag-Geykar Jialal Vasant Award on 27th February 2016 at Ajivasan,Juhu in Mumbai.

Acharya Jialal Vasant Sangeet Niketan bestowed the Uttam Vag- Geykar Jialal Vasant Award 2016 and will be given to Padma Vibhushan Gaan Saraswati Kishoritai Amonkar on 27th February at 6.30 pm at Ajivasan,Next to SNDT College,Juhu road,Santacruz West, Mumbai.The award will be presented by living legend of Theatre Dr.Vijaya Mehta.The Tabla Maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain and Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar ( Vocal) will perform on this occasion.The award was initiated in 2001 which was given to Sangeet martand Pandit Jasraj.
