Shahid Kapoor's 'Farzi' shelved?

Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru’s last film 'Happy Ending' failed to impress the audience and it seems this has impacted their next film 'Farzi', for which Eros International had come on board. News making the rounds in the film trade is that the film, featuring has been shelved.

'Happy Ending' was a disaster in box office and could not even recover it's budget. This has effected the new project. However the director duo dismissed the rumours and stated the film is on as per plans and the film will go on floors at the end of January.

Shahid Kapoor was signed opposite Kriti Sanon for this film. This is the first time that the two stars were signed together. Shahid was last seen in 'Haider' which was a commercial as well as critical success.
