Sonakshi Sinha's 'Noor' to release in April 2017

Mumbai, (PTI) Actress Sonakshi Sinha-starrer "Noor", which will see her playing a journalist, is set to arrive in theatres on April 7 next year.

"Noor", a crime thriller comedy, is an adaptation of Pakistani novel "Karachi, You're Killing Me!" by Saba Imtiaz.

"The date is set! #Noor arrives 7th April, 2017 #LifeIsGood #GotMyGlowOn #Yay @NoorTheFilm @Abundantia_Ent @TSeries," Sonakshi, 29, tweeted.

The film is being directed by Sunhil Sippy. It centres around a 20-year-old reporter Ayesha Khan, living in Karachi, and her misadventures and finding a nice lover.

"Noor" also stars Purab Kohli, who was last seen in Akshay Kumar-starrer "Airlift".
