NO ONE SHOULD FEEL INFERIOR WHEN RECIVING BENEFITS: HARY B. COUTINHO

Mumbai, June 08: The annual educational accessories distribution program was held on Sunday morning by Konkani Catholic Association (K.C.A).Since two decades, K.C.A has been offering monetary help, uniforms and educational accessories every year to the financially backward students.

In a simple programme presided by Harry B. Coutinho in collaboration with Helpinghands.gives (www.helpinghands.gives),hundreds of school children belonging to different communities and from weaker section of the society in and around Nallasopara were assisted in many ways.

Founders of Helpinghands.gives Jeevan Kotian, Peter Fernandes, Imelda Sequiera were present at the program and handed over various assistances and also wished bright future to the students. This time,more than 200 children received note books free of cost, more than 50 children received textual materials and uniforms. Annual school education fee of 20 students was paid by the institution.

Jeevan Kotian expressed -it is parents’ responsibility to educate the children and see that they concentrate in their studies. Parents and Society should develop intimacy with the teachers who correct the students when they go astray.

HarryCoutinho said-studious students should not lack educational accessories or financial assistance. Parents or students should not feel inferior to obtain educational grant or financial assistance. Instead you have to make use of such assistance and get educated. Further, they should develop their own business and must be kindhearted to offer assistance to others.

In the program, members of executive committee Lilly Quadras, Rony Pais, Enaze D’souza, Lavina Dais, John Alva, Daina Moras, Rohintan Kaaka, Hilda D’souza, Richard Pinto, Romio Fernandis, Lavina Dais, John Alva and many others were present.

Honorable Secretary of K.C.A -Claud D’silva welcomed the gathering. Honorable treasurer Alwyn Francis D’Souza Mudarangadi delivered the introductory speech and introduced the guests.Member of executive committee Lilly Quadras honored the guests and offered bouquets.
