22nd Annual Monti Feast Celebration by Konkani Association of Maharashtra

Mumbai, Sep. 09: Maharashtra Konkan Association held 22ndannual Monti celebrations at Divine Child Nursery Auditorium, Amboli, Andheri(W). Rev. Fr. Hubert Goveas - Parish priest of St. Francis Xavier Church, blessed the paddy corn and offered holy mass.

Rocky D’Cunha read the Holy Bible. Metilda Rodrigues offered the prayer. The little children and the devotees worshippedthe idol of Mother Mary by showering flowers in Her honor. Irin Rodrigues, Ida Montero, Hilda Fernandes and group offered prayers at the mass.

Lawrence D’Souza- Director of Bollywood Film Industry, Rita Lawrence, Hary Fernandes- director of Bollywood and Konkani film industry, Vincent Mathias- The founder and the president of Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Justice Piyus Vas-Convener of Legal Committee, Rev. Fr. Hubert Goveas, Jeneviv P. Vas, Pramila V Mathias-Entrepreneur, Neil N. D’Souza- Director of Divine Child Nursery were present as guests on the dais. In the occasion, children were felicitated and awarded scholarships.
