Rama Navami celebrated with pallaque Ustava, Gaja Rathotsava

Mumbai, Apl.17: Shri Ram Navami Utsav-2024 and the 27th Annual religious festival of Adamaru Mumbai branch celebrated at Shri Adamaru Mutt in Irla, Andheri West here on Wednesday with the guidance and blessings of Udupi Adamaru Mathadhis Vishwapriyatirtha Swamiji.

 In the morning, Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji performed ritualistic worship of Admar Pattadadevaru Shree Kaliya Mardana Krishna, Shri Rama, Udupi Shri Krishna, Bhoovaraha Gods enshrined in Mumbai Adamaru. On this occasion, a large number of devotees arrived and offered various forms of Poojas and received the grace of Lord Shri Rama.

 On the occasion of Ram Navami, Panchamruta Abhishekam was performed in the morning, Mahapooja in the afternoon, Pallakki Utsav and Gaja Rathotsava in the evening with a grand procession. Suresh Bhat Kuntadi carried the Utsavamoorti of Shridevaru in the procession and Srinivasa Bhat was the bhaktadasa. Padubidri Brahmasthan head Nagaraj P.S, Ganesh Rao Padubidri, Vishwajit Padubidri, Yatish Kinnigoli served as special floral arrangements for Shridevi, Pallaque and chariot.

 Archakas Dr. Ramdasa Upadhyaya Renjala (Shree Pejawara Mutt), Vishnu Karanth (Shree Subrahmanya Math Chembur), Vasudeva Bhat Miraroad, Krishnaraj Upadhyaya, Pavan Bhat Annigeri, Gopal Bhat, Shankara Kalyanithaya, Janardana Adiga, Amboli Sripad Bhat, Raghavendra Udupa, Giridhar Bhat, Sadananda Tantri including Vidwans were present.

 Mangala Mantrakshata, Night Pooja, Distribution of Tirtha Prasad, Annasantharpana were conducted. Harikrishna Bhajana Mandali, Wagdevi Bhajana Mandali, Vithala Bhajana Mandali performed Bhanjane and devotees performed in the day-long cultural festival. Classical music by Ms. Navya Rao, Geeta Nritya by Ms. Vidhi Rao, Ms. Akshata Rao and Ms. Kshama Rao. Bharatanatyam dance by Pavitra Bhat and Balaga. Saxophone by Dinesh Kotian, The annual Rama Navami was celebrated with a variety of dance performances by Dr. Sukanya Bhatt and troupe.

 Swamiji honored the dignitaries of the festival with Memento and flower bouquets. Later Sri Eeshapriya Swamiji delivered a special Speech on Rama Navami, blessed the Bhajan Mandali’s, programmes and all the assembled devotees and celebrated the annual festival which was celebrated with the last nine days of preparation.

 B.R Shetty, Managing Director of B.R Restaurants Pvt. Ltd., Ramavithala Kalluraya, Vani Rajesh Rao, Balakrishna Bhat, Jagannath Puthran, Tara Bhujanga Rao, Mstr. Shrisha R. Rao and large number of devotees, including many of dignitaries including participated and sang the praises of Lord Rama with devotion. Manager of the Mutt, Padubidri Rajesh V.Rao welcomed the devotees and delivered vote of thanks.
