Gujarat (Baroda), Oct.10: 30th special edition release of “Akshaya” monthly magazine was organized by Gujarat Billawa Association at Baidashree Cultural Centre Auditorium, Alkhapura, Baroda. Mohan C. Poojary- president of Billawa Association Gujarat expressed his views in the occasion.

The program held in the presidency of Nithyananda Kotian- president of Billawa Association Mumbai. Jaya C. Suvarna- president of Raastriya Billawa Maha Mandal Mulky initiated the 30th birthday celebration of “Akshaya” by cutting cake. In the presence of Sashidhar B. Shetty, D. K. Narasimha, Manoj C. Poojary Surat, Maya Bhaktavatsala, Venu Bhaktavatsala, the spiritual thinker and the author Shri Krishna Acharya (Dhanvanti Baroda) released the annual “Akshaya” special edition of 2017.

Dayananda Bontra- president of Billawa Association Gujarat expressed about the growth of “Akshaya” in his poetry. Nithyananda D. Kotian, Dr. Eshwar Alevoor, Harish K. Hejmadi and Harish G. Kokkarne were felicitated and were honored ‘Silver Medal’ for rendering special services in the development of “Akshaya”.

Krishna Acharya, Jaya Suvarna, D. Narasimha, Dayananda Bontra, Nithyananda Kotian expressed their views in the occasion.

Dignitaries performed Aarati to the Statue of goddess GayatriDevi, Koti-Chennaya and Brahmashri Narayana Guru at the Mandir. Saraswathi Pooja was performed to the bundle of Akshaya Special Edition. In the program, Dayananda Bontra and Shobha Dayananda Couple were felicitated with the title ‘Samaaja Sadhaka Rathna’.

M.S. Rao Ahmadabad, Mahesh C. Karkala- Hon. Gen. Treasurer of the association, Vishwanath G. Amin, K.S. Anchan, Vishwanath Poojary, Suman Kodiyalbail, Vasu Suvarna, Sarita Somanath were present at the dais.

Shrinivasa R. Karkera, Dayananda R. Poojary, Mohan D. Poojary, Ashok Kukyan, S.K. Sundar Mumbai, Sathish N. Bangera, Jayaram G. Naik, Kusuma C. Poojary, Sadananda Amin Udupi, Krishna Anchan, Prabhakar Poojary Surat, V. D. Amin, Sadashiva Poojary Vapi, Jayaram Shetty, Jinaraj Poojary, office bearers of the association, heads of various branches and several members were present at the program.

Women wing of Gujarat Billawa Association performed prayer. Dharmapala G. Anchan- Hon. Gen. Secretary of the association delivered the introductory speech. Vasu V. Suvarna welcomed the gathering. Dr. Eshwara Alevoor- editor of the Akshaya monthly briefed about the growth of the magazine “Akshaya”. Dayananda Salian compered the program. Saritha Somanath proposed vote of thanks.
