ONE SHOULD NOT FEEL INFERIOR FOR STUDYING IN NIGHT SCHOOL : L. V. AMIN

Mumbai, Jan.16: 57th annual day celebration and the award distribution ceremony of Guru Narayana Night High School was held on Saturday at Narayana Guru Auditorium, Santacruz. Hon. Former editor of Akshaya and the director of Bharath Bank- M. B. Kukyan, lit the lamp and inaugurated the program. L.V. Amin- former president of Billawa association and the president of Kannada Sangha, Santacruz was present as the chief guest and expressed his views in the occasion.

The program held in the presidency of Nithyananda D. Kotian. In the program, Bhaskara M. Salian- director of Bharath Bank and Saurabh Suresh Bhandary- Taulava Super Star of Tulu Film Industry were present as the guests of honor.

Shankara D. Poojary- vice president of the association, Shakuntala K. Kotian- president of women wing and guests of honor distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions and to the students who secured highest marks and congratulated them. M. B. Kukyan presented gold medal to Kum. Preethi Moolya who secured first place in the SSC examination held in the previous year and congratulated her.
Saurabh Bhandary, Dharmapal G. Anchan, Nithyananda Kotian expressed their views in the occasion.

Teachers of the school- Shivaraj Pateel, M. L. Badigera, Siddaramaiah Dashamani, Mohini Poojary, Hema Gowda, Navitha S. Suvarna, Vimala D. S, Mallesh Gowda, Sunil Pateel, Student representative- Kashinath L. Mankoji, Ravi Bangera- president of Alumni association and hundreds of students were present at the program.

The program began with the prayer song sung by the students. Bannanje Ravindra Amin- president of the school subcommittee, welcomed the gathering. Ananda Poojary introduced the guests. Ramachandrayya C.- school principal, read out the annual report and compered the program. M. I. Badigera- School Teacher, proposed the vote of thanks. Students performed various entertainment programs and presented the skit ‘Aviveki Arasa Ajnani Prajegalu’- directed by the school teacher Siddaramaiah Dashamani.
