61st Annual General Body meeting of Chembur Karnataka Sangha was held at Vidyasagar

Mumbai, Sep 26: “The construction work of Law College under the leadership of Chembur Karnataka Association is in progress and it will begin to work in the next academic year. Right now science and commerce sections are present in Junior College and Arts section will be introduced from the next academic year. However, we are opening a library for the pre-primary and nursery school children. Let them develop the reading habit in the early age. Building a well-educated society is the aim of the association. ” Said Advocate H. K. Sudhakar – the president of the Chembur Karanataka Association.

 

The Chembur Karnataka Association is providing its service in the educational, social and cultural fields since last 6 decades. 61st annual general meeting of the Chembur Karnataka Association was held on Sunday at Vidyasagara Complex Auditorium, Chembur.

Prabhakar B. Bolar – the Vice President, Sundar N. Kotian – the Joint Secretary were present at the dais. Jaya N. Shetty – the former President inaugurated the general body meeting by lighting the lamp.

In the beginning of the programme, Saraswathi Pooja was performed. Students recited the prayer. Ranjan Kumar R. Amin – the Honorary Chief Secretary welcomed the gathering and read the general body meeting report of last year. T. R. Shetty – the Honorary Treasurer presented the annual accounts. Later, 6 members were selected for the Executive committee for the financial year 2016-2017. The following members have been selected for the Executive committee. H. K. Sudhakara, Ranjan Kumar, R. Amin, T. R. Shetty, Dayasagar Chowta, Rama Poojary, and Yogesh V. Gujaran.

Vishwanath S. Shenava, Gunakar H. Hegde, Madhukar G. Bailoor, SudhakarAnchan, Mohan S. Kanchan, Ashok Salian, Jaya M. Shetty, Sudhir Puthran, Sanjeeva S. Shetty – the members of the Executive Committee and other members were present on the occasion. Jayalakshmi Holla, Milind Nada Gowda, Hilda Lobo, T. R. Shetty and Dayananda Chowta spoke on behalf of the audience and expressed their opinions. Devadasa K. Shettigar – the Joint Secretary rendered the vote of thanks.
