62nd Ganesha Chathurthi Celebration by GSB Ganeshothsava committee Wadala

Mumbai September 03: The renowned Ganeshothsava committee of Wadala, the GSB Public Ganeshothsava Committee will celebrate 62nd Annual Ganeshothsava from 5th September to 15th September with various spiritual, social and cultural programmes.

The celebration will be started on September 5th Monday at 7.00 AM, with the blessings of pontiffs of Kavale Mutt, Chitrapura and Gokarna Parthagali Jeevothama pontiff Shri Vidyadhiraj Teertha Shripada Oder. The celebration will be held up to 11 days in grand scale.

 

All arrangements are made under with the guidance of N N Pal and Ullas Kamath the executive president and president of the celebration committee.

Ganahoma, Maha annsantharpane, Mahapooja and Sarvalankara Pooja, Apurva Naivedya, Moodha Ganapathi, Tulabhaara, Durvarpana seva’s are arranged for the worship of Lord Ganapathi. Every day maha arathi will be performed at 1.30 PM, after that teertha prasadam will be distributed. Ranga Pooja, Pushpa Pooja and other kinds of poojas will be conducted.

 

On the eve of the cultural programme, every day Konkani drama, music, classical music, dances and other cultural programmes will be performed. Bhagavadgeetha Competition (part 12) will be held on 11th September, contestants should give their name before 10th September. Healthy Baby contest will be conducted on September 11th morning, in association with GSB Medical Trust Dadar. 1to 3 year old babies can participate in this contest and the name should be enrolled before 12 noon of September 10.

A health checkup camp is organized; it will be on September 13th. Talent award and scholarship distribution to the students of the community will be on September 11th.
