87TH BRANCH OF BHARAT BANK INAUGURATED AT GHODAPDEV IN BYCULLA
THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION OF UNDERPRIVILEGED: SURESH KANCHAN

Mumbai, January 07: The 87th branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd. was inaugurated on Wednesday at Jaikripa Housing Board Society building at Ghodapdev region of Rambav Bhogle Road in Byculla. The Executive president Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the branch by cutting the ribbon.

 Suresh R Kanchan-the vice-president of Mogaveera co-operative bank and Narayana Shetty-the building owner were present as chief guests and initiated the branch symbolically by lighting the lamp. Advocate Rohini J Salian-the executive vice president of the bank inaugurated the ATM services, Pushpalatha N Salian-senior director of the bank inaugurated the locker facility and wished good luck to the overall development of the branch.

“I have always been committed to Billawa community and especially grateful to Bharat bank. Billawa leader Jaya Suvarna is a leader of all community. The achievement through his leadership is excellent. He is an inspiration to all human being and a food-provider to the poor. By providing financial support to auto-rickshaw, taxi drivers, petty-shop owners and other underprivileged people, he has become a master of everyone. Let the bank which is raised by the public, develop more and more. Let it come-out as an eminent bank of the nation”-said Suresh Kanchan.

Dr S R Prabhu said-“Let this bank of Suvarna Kannadigas shine like “gold” in Mumbai of Maharashtra”.

“In this competitive era of financial development, the bank is progressing and achieving greater heights. Let it accomplish many more things”-said industrialist Raghu Poojary.

Kalesh Padande-the secretary of Jaikripa Co-operative housing society said that - the bank is a boon to this region.

Dinesh Mhathre, Amrith Shaw and Thulasiram Shindhe of Jaikripa Co-operative housing society expressed their views and wished good luck.

Manager Jayashri S Bangera, Bipin S Chavhan, Ramesh Poojary, Ashwath N Suvarna and Shruthi Shashidharana with bouquets. Jaya Suvarna felicitated Suresh R Kanchan, Sanjay Naik, Narayana Shetty and Sundari Shetty.

During this occasion Mayor Sanjay Naik, D R Mehtha, Shrinivasa R Karkera, CA. Ashwajith Hejmady, Advovate Ajeeth Shetty, Prathap Shetty, Prakash Moodabidri, Sundari Shetty, Savitha Shetty, Vice-general managers- Suresh s Salian, Prabhakar G Suvarna, Vasudeva P Salian, development board officers-Sunil Gujaran, Vijaya Palan and others were present.

Ullur Shekar Shanthi and Ullur Dhananjaya Shanthi performed Vaastupooja, Ganahoma, and Dwarapooja and distributed the theertha-prasadam. Ashwath N Suvarna and Jayanthi V Kotian, Vinod Kotian couples led the pooja rituals. Vice-general Manager and chief of the development board-Mohandas Hejmady-welcomed all, gave the introduction about the services of the bank, introduced the guests and conducted the programme. Shailesk Karkera proposed vote of thanks.
