Establishing Multistate Bank is the objective of the Model Bank: Albert D’souza

Mumbai, August 29: “The shareholders role and co-operation is significant in the development of the bank. The most of the progress is due to the effort of shareholders and employees. There is no other platform to greet you. At present, this institution has intended to establish a multistate bank and is busy bringing this into reality” – said Albert W D’souza, the executive president of Model co-operative bank Ltd.

Mr. D’souza said these words at the 99th Annual General Body Meeting of the Model Bank held on Saturday evening at St. Xavier’s College Auditorium, Mahim (W).

John D’silva-the founder president of the bank, William Sequeira-the executive vice president, directors Vincent Mathias, Philip L S Pinto, Thomas D Lobo, Lawrence D’souza, Abraham Clement Lobo, Advocate Pius Vaz, Benedicta Rebello, Marita D’Mello, Jerald Cardoza and Ancy D’souza were present at the dais.

Rev. Fr. Mario Vaz performed the worship at the beginning of the meeting, Edward Raskinha read the Bible. Kavitha sang the prayer. Ruben W Buthello and the group sang the devotional songs.

Shareholders, Former directors, senior officers, heads of other branches and well-wishers were present in the meeting.

William L D’souza the CEO and General Manager announced the Annual report of last year. A silence prayer was held in memory of departed members. Edward Raskinha conducted the meeting. Herald M Serao- the Additional General Manager proposed the vote of thanks.
