Mumbai, July 31: Aatidonji Dina celebration organized by women’s wing of Billawa Association Mumbai was held at Billawa Bhavan Mini Hall, Santacruz(E). Jaya C. Suvarna- The President of Rashtriya Billawa Mahamandal and the Chairman of Bharat Bank, initiated the program by lighting the lamp. In this occasion Yashodha N.T. Poojary- president of the Billawa Jagruti Group women’s wing, expressed- cultural awareness is possible through traditional practices.

In the program held in the presidency of Nithyananda D. Kotian- President of the association and led by Shakuntala K. Kotian- President of women’s wing, Asha S. Anchan- social worker, was present as chief guest, L.V. Amin- Former President of the association, Lawyer Rohini J. Salian-Vice president of Bharath Bank, Bola Mohini Ravi Poojary- social worker, Pooja Purushotham Kotian- secretary of Jagruti Group women’s wing, Prabha K. Bangera, Vilasini K. Salian were present on the dais as honorary guests.Mohini Poojary, Rohini Salian expressed their views.

Krishna Bangera welcomed the guests traditionally by posing himself as ‘Aati Kalanja’. Shakuntala Kotian Welcomed the gathering. Jayanti S. Kotian provided information about the month- Aati. Laxman Poojary, Vijaya Sanil, Sathish Kotian were the judges of the competitions. Sumitra Bangera and Jayanti S. Bangera introduced the guests. Dharmapal G. Anchan- Honorary Gerenal secretary compiled the program. Sumitra S. Bangera- Hon. Secterary of women’s wing rendered the vote of thanks.
