Associations pay tribute to Bunta Mutsaddhi M.D Shetty

MUMBAI, June 26: M. D. Shetty was held in the same respect as the father of the Buntara Sangh also in Ahar. I was frequently in touch with him and exchange conversations. He had a special personality with righteousness throughout his life and used to work like a Stubborn. Whatever work he undertook, he handled it perfectly and made it fruitful. The life of such M.D Shetty fraternity is indescribable, Shetty, who was the most learned among the Buntas, was strong in spirit and his speech was like a Vedic verse. His passing away is an irreparable loss to the Bunts society and the hotel industry. Strength to bear the grief of bereavement to his family and all Said Mr. Chandrahas Shetty President of Buntsa Sangha Mumbai.

Bunts Sangh Mumbai, Bunts Nyaya Mandi Mumbai, Aahar (Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association) Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations Maharashtra and President of other Associations organized a tribute meeting for the recently deceased renowned Bunta Dhureen M.D. Shetty (Mooloor kankanguthu Deju Shetty). It was organized here on Wednesday afternoon at Mrs. Radhabai Thimmappa Bhandari Sabhagriha of Bantara Bhavan, Kurla East where Chandrahasa K. Shetty relived the service attitude of the heavenly M.D. Shetty and offered flowers to the portrait of the divine soul who passed away.

Shetty, former president of Aahar Santosh Shetty, Granddaughter Ritika Ashwin Shetty, Bunts Sangh Mumbai Ladies Wing Chairperson Uma Krishna Shetty, Dr. Arun Shetty, Ashwin Kumar Shetty Spoke about M.D and paid tribute. Grandson CA. Venu Ramesh Shetty paid heartfelt tribute to all those who cheered the life of M.D Shetty.

Shetty, Joint Secretary Diwakar Shetty Indrali, Joint Treasurer Mundappa S. Payyade. Former President of Bunts Association R.C Shetty, Sudhakar S. Hegde, Dr Padmanabha V. Shetty, CA.Shankar B. Shetty, Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, Prabhakar L. Shetty, Padmanabha S. Payyade, Education and Social Welfare Committee Chairman Shantarama B. Shetty, Powai Education Committee Chairman B.R Shetty, Higher Education Committee Chairman CA. I.R Shetty, Many truste members of the Bunts Sangh, former and current office-bearers, working Chairmans of regional committees, coordinators, working presidents of sub-committees, women and youth wing office-bearers and members, well-wishers, relatives, office-bearers of other organizations were present in large numbers and expressed their condolences and offered tributes with flowers.

Ashok Pakkala spoke introductory speech about M.D mentioning the incomparable service and contribution given to the Buntar Sangh. Vijay Shetty Moodbelle troupe sang a devotional song. In between, MD Shetty's lifestyle was screened with a documentary. Before the meeting, the Vaikuntha Samaradhana rites were performed by the head priest of the temple, Vidwan Aravinda Baninttaya, at the Sri Mahavishnu Temple in the premises of Bantar Bhavan.
