Bengaluru: A renowned cultural association of Bengaluru “Srishti Kala Bhoomi” honored Mr. Leeladhar Baikampady, an NRI and Kannadiga and a resident of Bahrain, with a prominent award “Srishti Kalashri” for his valuable social services done to the country and abroad and his contribution to the field of art and culture over the past 29 years.

The awad was conferred in a programme on the eve of 4th anniversary celebration of “Srishti Kala Bhoomi” held at Dr Rajkumar Kala Kshethra, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru and it was led by Sankabailu Manjunatha Adappa, a famous cultural organizer . During the occasion, Dr Rajesh Alva- chief secretary of Vishva Tuluvere Ayano, Badiyadka was present as the president, Dr Kishore Alva, a renowned industrialist of Bengaluru, Karnuru Mohan Rai and others were present as chief guests.

“Srishti Kala Bhoomi” association is renowned for conducting great programmes by inviting Tulu-Kannada based artists and cultural associations and honoring the national and international achievers. So, this time Mr Leeladhar Baikampady have given “Srishti Kalashri” award and this is the seventh prestigious award he has received for his continuous and diverse service.

Leeladhar Baikampady is living in Bahrain since 19 years because of his employment. He has received Rashtriya Bhooshana Award (Bengaluru), Samaja Rathna Award (Malaysia), Rashtriya Ektha Award (New-Delhi), Aryabhata International Award (Bengaluru), The Global Achievers Award (Thailand), and Karnataka Saurabha Award (Mangaluru) from various associations.

Leeladhar Baikampady is a Finance Manager by profession and working for a Bahrain based company. He is well known for his eminent leadership in the field of culture and community. He is very popular as a writer, theatre artist, social worker and orator. Leeladhar Baikampady is an active member and in contact with many social, cultural and religious associations of India and Bahrain.
