BUNTS ARE THE ONE WHO INSPIRES LIVES: DR. SHANTHARAM SHETTY
Mumbai, Aug. 06: The Annual student scholarship distribution program organized by Educational and Social Welfare Committee of Bantara Sangha was held at Belluru Parari R. N Shetty auditorium Mumbai in collaboration with the prestigious Alcargo Logistic Limited. The Chancellor of Nitte University- Prof. M Shantharam Shetty inaugurated the program and expressed his views.
The program was held under the presidency of Vivek Shetty- the President of Bantara Sangha Bantwal. The President of MITE educational institution- Rajesh Chowta, the retired Police officer of Navimumbai and CSR advisor of Alcarga organization- K. L Prasad and Alcargo CSR Head- Dr. Neelrathna R. Shende were present on the dais and distributed educational scholarship worth more than 40 lakhs to around 1500 students of different castes and community. Rajesh Chowta, K.L Prasad and Dr. Neelrathna expressed their views.
Vivek Shetty in his presidential speech said that, “This organization is intended to encourage the students by providing interest free loans to the children of the society and to adopt at least 100 students and provide higher education”. Banta sangha respects everyone. Children and their parents must follow this in the society and motivate national integration. ”
The Secretary of Bantara Sangha- Chandrahasa Shetty, Dr. Prashantth Marla, the Vicepresident- Kiran Hegde Ananthadi, the joint Secretary- Naveenchandra Shetty Mundajeguthu, the President of Womens wing- Asha Prasad Rai introduced the guests. The president and other executives were present on the dais and honored the guests traditionally by presenting memento.
The Legislator- Ulepaadiguthu Rajesh Naik, Sandhya Vivek Shetty, Nakre Surendra Shetty, Savistar Shetty were present on the occasion.
Trupthi Rai, Kushi Shetty, Risha L. Shetty and Shreeksha Shetty recited the prayer. The President of Educational and Social Welfare- H. Sankappa Shetty and the treasurer- Jagadish Shetty read the list of beneficiaries. Balakrishna Alva Kodaje welcomed the gathering and compered the program. The Secretary- Chandrahasa D. Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
