(INTERVIEW : RONS BANTWAL)

Mumbai, June 9: “Billawa community has not yet grown to the expected level. Though our leaders have people and money background, the negligence of the long-term wish of educational field might be the main reason for this. We have founded Billawa Chamber of Commerce with the objective of finding answer, solution for the consolidation of well-educated and self-employed people. I hope this is going to be the Kalpavruksha of all Billawas”, said Mr. N.T. Poojary, the President of Billawa Jagruti Balaga, Foundation Designer of BCCI Association and the Founder President.

“The Billawa community which belongs to other backward classes has now got the powerful leaders who can rule the nation. But, due to some reasons, large number of our youngsters are deprived of education, employment, business, leadership, etc and are unable to reach the level as expected. To overcome this, BCCI association is going to strive hard for the development of the society”, explained Mr. N. T. Poojary while conducting conversation with the journalists.

Q: In what ways, your BCCI could encourage the growing book business and the youngsters?

A: As our education knowledge shows much difference, whatever we learn is not enough in this modern technological world. Our youngsters are learning much through mobile, Ipad, etc. We are going to support our youngsters by providing them business knowledge through providing suggestions of skilled and experienced scholars.

Q: Will BCCI also be limited to seminar, conversation, tour, felicitation, etc.?

A: Not at all. Seminars, conversations, business tours are all important from the view point of developing the business knowledge of junior and senior leaders and youngsters. Our only priority is to present annual awards to talented people by identifying their service and encourage them.

Q: Don’t you feel that priority is given to one group of Billawas in the selection of office bearers of BCCI?

A: This is a wrong thinking...! Selection of the office bearers has been done as per the vote of confidence of the members of many associations of Billawas. Unit leads us all. Since this is the beginning of BCCI, it might be difficult to unite everyone. In future days, proper position will be given to all based on their eligibility and the association and the society will be led equally.

Q: What sort of recognition will be given to young talented people?

A: Encouragement of youngsters is the basic objective of BCCI. Most of the people are scattered throughout the world and are leading their life as self employed. We are going to motivate others by contacting them and request them to share their experiences and knowledge while conducting get-togethers.

Q: You are a young industrialist. How would you like to manage BCCI association in a different way?

A: As our leaders are thinking about their conditions only, they never thought about successors. Though youngsters are very talented, it is very sad to say that their talent has not been recognised. If this can be changed, it will create new spirit among youths. We wish to make BCCI a best association by using the experiences of old people and encouraging youngsters to make use of the benefits available.

Q: How about the co-operation of the associations like Billawara Maha Mandala, Akhila Bharatha Billawara Union, Billawara Association, etc. for the advancement of BCCI?

A: All these are striving hard for the prosperity of Billawas. BCCI has already got their extensive support and based on the motivation of the leaders of these associations, BCCI is getting ready to serve the people.

Q: How much membership does BCCI have right now? How much do you want to increase?

A: Nearly 300 memberships have been registered in a month. We expect it to be 1000 within a year. We are going to create BCCI chapters throughout the nation and are going to improve it systematically.
