Blood Donation Camp by – St. Joseph’s Konkani Welfare association Mira Road

Mira Road: St. Joseph’s Konkani Welfare association Mira Road along with Lions club Mumbai Champs with the help of Rajiv Gandhi Blood Bank of Mira Road, organised a Blood-Donation Camp on 15th of March from 8 AM to 2 PM in this Lenten season, in the Infant Jesus Hall of St. Joseph’s Church Mira Road. The fear of Corona virus is disturbing globally along with India, the people of Mira Road donated blood for a worthy cause of ‘Saving someone’s Life’ in big numbers.

After invoking God’s Grace on the Camp, Parish priest Fr. Melvin D Cunha, along with Office bearers of St. Joseph’s Konkani Welfare association, Lions club of Mumbai Champs and the staff of Rajiv Gandhi Blood Bank, inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp by lighting the lamp.

Along with a large number of Mira Road parish crowd Fr. Melvin, Fr. Walter, Fr. Lawrence and Fr. Pawan and Holy Cross Sisters donated their blood on this occasion. One could see a lot of support from the people of Mira Road.
