“Bhandary people are good in heart”: Kemarushree

Mumbai, July 31: “Bhandary brothers are good people and are close to everyone. Mr Suresh Bhandary is a pearl of this Bhandary society. His socialite works are a support to the Bhandary community. His service towards uniting the entire society is a role model to everyone. Rather than giving wealth to children, inculcate culture in the child and that will become the foundation stone for overall growth of the society”-said Shree Isha Vittaladasa Swaji of Kemaru Sandeepani Saadhanashrama. 

Kemarushree said these words in a celebration “Aatidonji Dina and Bhandary Kutumbhothsava” on Sunday morning held at Smt.Ammanni Ramanna Shetty Auditorium Udupi.

The opening ceremony of the programme was held under the presidentship of Suresh S Bhandary Kadandale -the president of Shree Kacchuru Shree Nageshwara Temple Managing Trust, Barkuru. Dr.M Mohan Alva of Alva’s Education Foundation Moodabidire was present as the chief guest. Ln.Indrali Jayakara Shetty-the executive president of the Tulukoota Udupi inaugurated the function in a unique way.

Purushotham Shetty of Ujwal developers, Thonse Vijaya Kumar Shetty of “Kalajagatthu” Mumbai, Jerry Vincent Dias, the president of “Kredai” Udupi, Yashpal Suvarna-the president of South Canara-Udupi District Fish Federation, Sadashiva Bhandary Sakaleshpura-the president of Bhandary Mahamandala was present at the dais.

In his inaugural speech Jayakara Shetty said “Bhandary community is a role model to a systematic organization. This celebration is a guide for a family system”.

As a part of cultural programme, “Aati Kalanja”, “Paaddana”, “yoga”, “mimicry”, folk music and a special programme “porlu tulunad” was exhibited by various associations of Bhandary community. Dayananda Kattalsar explained the historical factors of the “Aati”month. Lakumi group of Mangalore exhibited a drama “kusal”.

Somashekhara M Bhandary- the honarary chief secretary of Shree Kacchuru Shree Nageshwara Temple, Bannanje Sanjeeva Bhandary, U Ganesh Bhandary Haleangady, Varalaxmi Nagesh, Poornima S Bhandary, Varija V Bhandary, Jyothi Bhaskar Bhandary, Sharada V Bhandary, Vedaraj Bhandary, Naveen D Padil, Dr. Shivarama K Bhandary, N Naveen Bhandary, Advocate Shekhar Bhandary, Advocate R M Bhandary, B Venkatesh Bhandary, Prabhakar Bhandary Thane, Barkuru Jayaram Shetty, Lalitha Vishvanath Bhandary, Vijaya R Bhandary, Mastar Sourabh s Bhandary and hundreds of Bhandary people participated in the function.

Arpitha P Shetty Katpady and Sudhakara Bhandary Bannanje introduced the guests and compered the programme. Amitha Girish Bhandary sang the prayer. Somashekhara M Bhandary proposed the vote of thanks.
