Completion of 65th Annual General Meetings of Bhandary Seva Samithi Mumbai

Mumbai, July 31: The 65th Annual general meeting of Bhandary Seva Samithi was held at Sri Swami Nithyananda auditorium in Sion on Saturday. The president of the committee Shekhara Bhandary initiated the program by lighting the lamp and expressed his views. He was grateful to everyone who helped in running this organization. He stated that power is not permanent, but service is forever. And he said “let us make use of the opportunities and lead our community”.

The vice-president of Seva samithi- Advocate Ramanna M. Bhandary and Prabhakar P. Bhandary, the joint secretary- Shashidhar D. Bhandary, the joint treasurer- Prakash Bhandary, the president of women’s wing- Shobha Suresh Bhandary Kadandale, the vice chairman- Pallavi Ranjith Bhandary, the secretary- Rekha A. Bhandary, the Treasurer Kshama R. Bhandary were present on the dais.

Silent prayer was offered for the departed souls of Bhandary committee. Prakash Bhandary expressed his opinion on behalf of the dignitaries.

Riya R. Bhandary recited the prayer. The honorable chief secretary-Vijaya R. Bhandary welcomed the gathering. The joint secretary- Shashidhar D. Bhandary presented the annual report of past year and information regarding annual activities of the committee. The honorable treasurer- Karunakar G. Bhandary presented the annual accounts. The joint secretary- Purushotam G. Bhandary proposed vote of thanks. At the end, President and office bearers presented annual scholarships to the children of committee members.

The managing trustee of Kachuru Shri Nageshwara temple Seva trust – Suresh S. Bhandary, the former president- Balakrishna P. Bhandary and others were present on the occasion. Executive committee members were selected for next two years in the general meeting. Later Advocate R. M Bhandary was elected as the president and Shashidhar D. Bhandary was elected as the chief secretary.
