Dhwani Pratishthana to host Madhya prachya sahitya sammelana in Dubai-Logo unveiled by Dr Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar

Mumbai, Sept.05: On the occasion of 30th anniversary celebrations, Dhwani Pratishtana has decided to organize Middle East Kannada Sahitya Sammelana (Madhyaprachya Kannada Sahitya Sammelana) followed by “Dhwani Srirnaga” theatre award presenting ceremony at JSS Private School Auditorium, Jumeirah, Dubai, on 23rd September 2016.Eminent Kannada scholar Dr. Go. Ru. Chenna Basappa has been elected as president of Sammelana.

For this year, Dhwani Sriranga Theatre Award will be presented to Smt. Umashree (Kannada & Culture Minister -Karnataka State), Noted actress. Well Known Kannada Cine director Dr. Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar unveiled the logo of Madhya Prachya Sahitya Sammelana 2016 at Burj Khalifa Residence Party hall on 2nd Sep 2016.

Dr. Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar congratulated the efforts put in by Dhwani Prathishthana in upholding the Kannada Tradition . He said, “Kannada is our language and we are happy to take it wherever we go. Dhwani Pratishtana has taken a bold step to conduct an event of culture and literature with artists and writers from Karnataka. I am happy to be associated with the program this way.”

President of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha,Mr.Sarvottam Shetty, Mr.James Mendonsa of Relia -ble Fabricators and Eminent Chartered Accountant Mr. Devkumar Kambli also spoke offering full support for the program.
