DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOLARSHIPS OF SHRI SUKRUTHINDRA THEERTHA SWAMIJI EDUCATION FUND
Mumbai, Nov. 22: Shri Samyamindra Shripada, the younger seer of Shri Samsthana Kashi Mutt Varanasi visited Shri Guru Ganesh Prasad auditorium at Sion (East) on Saturday evening and distributed the annual scholarships to students of GSB community on behalf of Shri Sukruthindra Theertha Swamiji Education Fund and wished them good luck.
This educational encouragement programme was conducted with the blessings of Shrimad Sudhindra Theertha Swamiji, the seer of Shri Samsthana Kashi Mutt Varanasi. “Today’s children who are going to be the citizens of the future should lead their life as per the wish of our ancestors. Parents should encourage their children to lead life in a respectable way. Knowledge is improved by sincere education. Human life will be meaningful if we become intelligent by acquiring knowledge without giving much importance to scoring high marks in the exam or getting a degree. Hence, children should know the significance of education and should become good citizens of the country”, said Shri Samyamindra Shripada.
The Vice-President of the Mandal – Ramanatha Kini, Treasurer – Suresh Bhat, Joint Secretary – Prashant Puranik, Joint-Treasurer – Prashant Malya, Convenor of Ganeshotsav Committee – Dr. Bujanga Pai, Co-Convenor – G D Rao and office bearers of the Seva Mandal were present on this occasion and performed Pada Pooja to Swamiji. The President – Raghavendra G Bhat welcomed the gathering. K S Bhat and V S Bhat sang the prayer. Mr. Sathish Rama Nayak, the Convenor informed about Shri Sukruthindra Theertha Swamiji and presented the programme. The Honorary Secretary Ramesh Bhandarkar proposed the vote of thanks.
