Ganeshotsav Celebration at Shri Ramamandira Dwarakanatha Bhavana of Wadala

Mumbai, Sept.05: The Ganeshotsav festival has been celebrated methodically throughout Mumbai and GSB Sarvajanika Ganeshotsav Samithi has celebrated Ganesh Chathurthi on a grand scale at Shri Ramamandira Dwarakanatha Bhavana at Wadala.

The 62nd Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava has been celebrated at Shri Ramamandira at Wadala.

In 1955, Gowda Saraswatha Brahmins of Mumbai started the celebration on a small scale and it gained popularity in 2014 during diamond jubilee celebration. The celebration has been commenced on Thursday which is Bhadrapada Shukla Chowthi & lacs and lacs of devotees had the good fortune of having Ganapathi’s darshan. In the morning, Vedamurthy Anantha Bhat and Vedamurthy Vasantha Bhat performed special Ashtothara Ganayaga, daily Vinayaka pooja, etc. Gopal Rakkar and Bharathi Gopal couple led the pooja rituals.

The President of Utsav Samiti – Ullas D Kamath, Trustee Executive President of Ganeshotsav Samiti – N.N. Pal, Chief Convenor – Govind S Bhat, Ashok V. Nayak, Subash Pai, Akshay M Pai, U.N. Kini, Kamalaksha Saraf, many volunteers, devotees, etc. were present and worshipped Lord Ganesha. ‘The celebration will end on Anantha Chathurdashi’, said N.N. Pal.
