GEETHA SADANANDA SHETTY COUPLE THE WINNERS OF MAKAI BUNTS SHRIMAN-SRIMATHI -2016

Mumbai, Dec11: Bombay Bunts Association Mumbai celebrated annual get-together last Saturday at Soumyalatha Sadananda Shetty Auditorium, Bunts Centre, Navi Mumbai. Advocate Uppoor Shekar Shetty – the President of the association presided over the programme and Vinay Hegde –the Chancellor of Nitte University as well as Lemina group of institution inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Deepak Shetty – the Director General of Shipping Authority of India was present as chief guest.

The guests felicitated Raghuram K. Shetty – Trustee of the association, Babu N. Shetty - the former President of the association, Jayaram N. Shetty – the Managing Director of Regency Hotel group, Panduranga S. Shetty – the Managing Director of Sony Steel and Appliances for their notable achievements in various fields and talent awards were given to children.

On this occasion, youth wing conducted Bunts Shirman-Shrimathi 2016 competition under the sponsorship of Makai. Sadananda Shetty and Geetha S. Shetty couple bagged “Bunts Shirman-Shrimathi 2016. Bhagya Prasad Shetty and Suchitra B. Shetty couple won “Popular Couple”. Yogesh Shetty and Aarathi Y. Shetty couple and Narayana Shetty Nandalike and Shantha N. Shetty couple won first and second runner up respectively. Navinchandra Shetty and Triveni S. Shetty, Ganesh S. Shetty and Geetha G. Shetty, Ashok Shetty and Jyothi S. Shetty participated in the competition and they were honoured by the association. Nithesh Shetty Ekkar and Smruthi Balakrishna Shetty compered the programme. The competition was ended with a song sung by the youth team.

The office bearers of the association felicitated Varija Chandra Shekar Shetty, Susheela Sanjeeva Shetty, Shalini Shivaram Shetty, Vimala Ramakrishna Shetty, Pushpa Krishna C. Shetty, Varija Raghu P. Shetty, Vasanthi Bhujanga Shetty, Meena Aithappa Shetty, Indira Bhaskar Shetty, and A.B. Shetty, for celebrating their 50th marriage anniversary. Shakuntha Sadananda R. Shetty, Deeraj Karunakar Shetty – the Director of V. K. Group, special guest Chitah Yajnesh Shetty were honoured on this occasion. Asha S. Shetty introduced the couples who received the felicitation.

Charan Shetty – the Vice Executive President of Youth Wing, Sannidhi Shetty – the Honorary Secretary, Shruti Shetty – Joint Secretary and Dhananjaya Shetty – the Treasurer, Tokurguthu Bhaskar Shetty, Jayaram J. Malli, N.C. Shetty, Advocate Parari Prakash L. Shetty, Advocate Anand V. Shetty, Jaya N. Shetty, Jayanth K. Shetty, Advocate Rathnakar V. Shetty, Shyama N. Shetty and other members and office bearers were present during this occasion. Women presented Fashion Show, Youth Wing presented dance and skit. Anvesh Shetty, Prashanth Shetty and Rajeev Shetty compered the programme.

The programme began with VinayakaBhajan. Advocate Ashok D. Shetty – welcomed all. Geetha Shetty recited the prayer. Vyshali K. Shetty delivered introductory speech. Baba Prasad Arasa compered the programme. CA Surendra K. Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
