Mumbai, April 11: The Billawa Culture and Art Forum, which was established in the intention of unifying the noted writers and up-coming thinkers and writers in a single stage and to encourage the young writers and people those interested in culture and art was inaugurated.

Babu Shiva Poojary- the senior writer, renowned researcher and honarary editor of “Gurutu” , the magazine of Billawa Jagruthi Balaga,Mumbai was inauguarated the forum by lighting the lamp Last Saturaday at Rotary club auditorium, Ghantali at Thane(W).

During the occasion, the famous writer Ravi R Anchan, social worker Parameshwara Poojary and Gulabi Babu Poojary, Ranga S Poojary, Panju Gangolly, Simanthuru Chandrahasa Suvarna, C A Poojary were present.

Later, “Sahithya Saurabha” and “Madyama Kala Vikasana” programmes were conducted under the presidentship of columnist and orator Ravi R Anchan, in this programme many up-coming writers were presented their story, poerty, short-poem and article. As a part of cultural programme “Nrithyasiri Vaibhava” was exhibited.

N T Poojary-the president of Billawa Jagruthi Balaga, Purushothama S Kotian-the vice president, Chitrapu K M Kotian, Nagaraja Gurupura, Jaya C Poojary, S.Daya, Gopal Thrasi, Sadananda Anchan Thane, Hema Sadananda Amin and writers and those interested in art and literature were present in large number.
