‘KADALA MAGE’ Tulu comedy drama successfully concluded in Dubai

Rythm Events in association with Nama Tuluveruon their 8th Anniversary presented a new concept drama of writer Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail’s 61st show of KADALA MAGE Tulu comedy family drama on Friday the 21st April, 2017 in Sh. Rashid Auditorium, The Indian High School, Oud Maitha Road, Dubai, UAE.

 

The show started with welcome note by Shodhan Prasad who briefed on the past events of the organisers and thanked the audience for their continued support as always. Aye Subhage, Kaala Chakra, Dhumbu Pira were some of the dramas hosted in the past including Blood donation campaigns, Iftar distribution in the labour camps and the record breaking ‘TuluvereParba’ celebrated with all community members in one platform together. He then introduced and invited the leaders of the organization Ajmal& Deepak SP along with the coordinator of the show Noel Almeida including senior member PurushottamSalian on to the stage.

He then remembered those Tuluvas who recently had left us on heavenly abode specially William Aranha, NageshGaniga& Nagaraj Bhandari who passed away recently in Dubai and said that it is sad that they are not with us anymore and we need to remember them and pray for their soul to rest in peace. A one minute prayer was done with audience standing before the show continued. He also requested that Tuluvas should come forward to help in those special cases by arranging to send the mortal remains of those Tuluvas who end up in tragic deaths in this part of the world to their beloved ones as soon as possible without delay.

Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Robert Lasrado was invited on to the stage along with Walter Nandalike of Daijiworld, Sarvotham Shetty of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha, Shekar Shetty of Arab Udupi Group of Hotels, Harish Sherigar of ACME Building Materials, Joseph Mathias of Merit Freight Systems, Hitesh Shetty of Globelink West Star Shipping, Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail& Smt. Rohini Jagaram of Kala SangamaKalavidaru, Mangalore. They were all honoured on the stage with flower bouquet by Ajmal& Deepak; followed by differently arranged traditional lighting of the lamp proceedings. Sampath Shetty did the reading of the proceedings ably.

Rev. Fr. Robert Lasrado blessed the show, Sarvotham Shetty wished all the best while Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail briefed on the drama and thanked the audience for their support from the past.

Shodhan briefed on the drama’s popularity and later proposed the vote of thanks to all the Sponsors and Media for their continued support and also to one and all who supported this programme successfully to present. Later a clipping of Producer Harish Sherigar’s ‘March 22’ Kannada film’s trailer was shown on the screen.

The drama started with a very big round of applause as the beautiful realistic stage setting drew attention of the drama lovers with special effect of the Mangalore beach on the back ground of true size houses erected attracted the people who kept on appreciating even after watching the full drama. Good sound also supported the success of the drama. The drama which was based on current family values with touch of humour was liked by the whole audience as it was fully carried away by Dinesh Attavar and SubashPandeshwar throughout with their super act. The audience were fully glued to the seats till the end and applauded their reaction throughout the performance. On the whole, it was a good show after a long wait for all those Tulu drama lovers.
