Model Co-operative Bank Ltd. organized Training Programme on Co-operative Banking

MODEL CO-OP. BANK LTD. IMPARTS TRAINING ON CO-OPERATIVE BANKING TO DIRECTORS & SHAREHOLDERS & PRESENTS ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2018-19

Mumbai, Nov 30: Model Co-operative Bank Ltd. organized Training Programme for the Directors and Shareholders on Co-operative Banking on November 30, 2019 at Xavier Institute of Engineering, Mahim.

The Training was conducted by Mr. Prakash Kondpalle, Chief Faculty of JSBL Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Kothrud, Pune. The objective of the training was to sensitize the Shareholders about the History of Co-op. Movement in Maharashtra and India, Principles of Co-operation, Analysis of the Financial Statements of Co-operative Banks, Rights of Registrar, 97th Constitutional Amendments and State Order of 2013 on Co-operative Societies. The programme was well attended by 250 shareholders.

Thereafter, 47 students across a wide spectrum of academic fields were felicitated for their outstanding academic performance at the Academic Excellence Awards Function.

The Chief Guest of the function was Dr. Evans, Professor and Head – Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Bombay College of Pharmacy, Kalina. He addressed the students urging them to not to be like shooting stars, but to constantly shine like the sun and set higher goals to excel in the fields they desire to take up.

Founder Chairman John D’Silva congratulated the students advising them to come up in life and not to be followers but to be leaders

Director Thomas Lobo also congratulated and encouraged the students to utilize their full potentials to achieve higher goals.

William L. D’Souza, General Manager & CEO and Zenon D’Cruz, Deputy General Manager attended the function. The programme was compered by Edward Rasquinha, Manager. The programme concluded with vote of thanks and singing of the National Anthem.
