‘Monthi Fest’ was celebrated at St Louis Church, Dahisar, Mumbai, on Sunday September 11, symbolizing a precise blend of solemnity, devotion, unity, joy and merriment. All the families in the parish came together to celebrate this feast.

At 10.30 am, Novena to Mother Mary was said, after which the blessing of new harvest took place. After this, a procession consisting of the little children at the lead went to St Louis Church; sing a traditional hymn “Sakadd sangata mellyam”. Holy Mass was celebrated by a guest priest Rev. Fr Nelson Dheeraj Pais, Asst Parish Priest of Urwa (Mangaluru Diocese) and Rev. Fr Lancy D’Silva CSC, Parish Priest as the co-celebrant for the feast mass.

This was followed by a cultural programme wherein parishioners of all age groups came forth and actively participated in a variety of skits, dances and songs.
