“Jokatte writes straight forward, readable articles on any subjects. Reality and honesty are the main features of his articles. He gives much importance to rational thinking.”- said Durgappa Kote.

“We can see two types of stories in Jokatte’s writings. One is the stories of youth who left the native place and reached Mumbai during 1980. The second one is story of heart broken lovers. And some stories are related to communal riots. We can see the dilemmas of youth who tried in vain to come out of the orthodox mentality at the native place.

“When we read the travel literature of Jokatte, we become travellers. He writes detailed articles on his trips. So we come to know the history of that place. All who go on trips cannot write articles. It is only possible for people like Jokatte.” – said Madhusudan Rao
