Patron of Art John A Sequiera Sakinaka Passed Away

Mumbai, Febraury 07: The renowned industrialist, parton of art and founder of Konkan Kalakar Mumbai, Mr John Eugene Sequiera (56) passed away by heart attack on Monday (06.02.2016) at Mangola Apartment, Sakinaka, Nahar.

 

Last Saturday itself, Mr. Sequiera and Arsula J Sequeira received a felicitation from, Konkan Publication Mumbai in a function organized at Pallotti church ground, Andheri (E) for his service in the field of Art.

Mr John Sequiera encouraged many artists through Konkan Kalakar Association and he used to honor the artists by “Pintham Konkan Kalakar Award”. Mr Sequiera who was originally from Pakshikere near Mulky, survived by wife and son. The body was taken to native place and the funeral will be held on Thursday (09.12.2017) evening at St.Jude church, Pakshikere- said the family sources.
