President of Maldives HE Ibrahim Mohammad Solih makes a trip to Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari

Mumbai (RBI), Aug,06: A delegation including the President of the Republic of Maldives HE Ibrahim Mohammad Solih visited Maharashtra Film, Theatre, and Cultural Development Corporation's Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari in Goregaon East. Vivek Bhimanwar, Managing Director of the Corporation welcomed him on this occasion. During this visit, the delegation was impressed by the beauty of the Bollywood Park and Chroma Studio.

The delegation included Maldivian President, Finance Minister Ibrahim Amir, Economic Development Minister Fayyaz Ismail, Indian High Commissioner Munu Mahawar.

A comedy show with dance in Marathi, Hindi and Maldivian languages was organized at the Park. A demonstration of how changes, effects are done before and after shooting in Chroma Studio was shown too. The delegation visited the sets of the serial 'Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah'.

"Along with tourism and industry opportunities, Maldives has many locations that are required for filming and it is the preferred filming location of Indian producers," Mr. Bhimanwar said.

On this occasion, Joint Managing Director of the Corporation, Kumar Khaire, Director of Bollywood Park, Santosh Mizgar, Chirag Shah, Ravi Ruparelia and heads of various departments were present.
