Adoption and Talent Award by Billawa Association
Mumbai, Sep.04: Annual adoption and talent award distribution program was organized by Vidhya Subcommittee of Billawa Association Mumbai, and was held in the presidency of Nithyananda D. Kotian at Shri Narayana Guru Hall, Billawa Bhavan, Santacruz(E).
Ramesh Koti- Businessman, was present as Chief Guest and initiated the program by lighting the lamp. Jaya C. Suvarna- President of the Raastriya Billawa Maha Mandal, Bhaskar M. Salian- Director of Bharath Bank, and Justice Kavita R. Koti- Social worker- were present as honorary guests. Shankar D. Poojary- vice-president of the association, Mahesh C. Karkala- Hon Gen. secretary, Shakuntala K. Kotian- president of women wing were present on the dais and handed over the talent awards to the talented children and also adoption of the children was also took place.
In the beginning, Rakesh Shetty- motivational speaker, conducted the workshop on the topic “Self-Belief”. Speaking on the topic he said – “students need to accumulate global awareness. Magnificent life can be built when commitment is developed”. Akhilesh Anchan helped in the workshop.
Bhaskar Salian, Jaya Suvarna, Nithyananda Kotian expressed their views in the occasion.
Members of Vidhya Subcommittee- Ravindra A. Amin, Prema R. Kotian, Raviraj Kalyanpur, Sadananda Amin, M. Anand Poojary, Mohan D. Poojary, Ganesh H. Bangera, Dinesh Amin, Gopal Palan and many others were present at the program and encouraged the talented children.
Kum. Vibhuti R. Kalyanpur delivered the prayer, Bhaskar V. Bangera- secretary of Vidhya subcommittee, welcomed the gathering. Dharmapala G. Anchan- Hon Gen Secretary, delivered the introductory speech and compiled the program. Dhananjaya S. Kotian read over the adoption list. Vishwanath Tonse- secretary of Vidhya subcommittee proposed the vote of thanks.
