ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL – SOCIAL WELFARE PROGRAM OF BUNTS ASSOCIATION MUMBAI

Mumbai, June 30: Annual Educational and Social welfare program of Bunts Association Mumbai was held at Smt. Radhabhai T. Timmappa Bhandary hall- Kurla(E). Chief Minister Fadnavis handed over the scholarships to hundreds of students of the Bunts community sponsored by Sudheer V. Shetty- Managing Director of Charishma Builders.

The Program was held in the Presidency of Prabhakar L. Shetty- President of the Association, Nalin Kumar Kateel- MP of Dakshin Kannada District, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp, Gopal C. Shetty- MP of Mumbai(N) Lok Sabha was present as the chief guest, Sudheer V. Shetty- Managing Director of Charishma Builders, Sudhakar S. Hegde- Managing Director of Hotel Tunga Institution, and Korangrapaady Prakash M. Shetty Managing Director of MRJ Institutions Bangalore were present as honorary guests and handed over monetary help and various other donations to the disable and other students deprived of education.

Gopal Shetty in this occasion said “Bunts are the source of inspiration and encouragement. This association always works for the society, the help of bunts association in the field of education is remarkable”. Sudheer Shetty, Sudhakar Hegde, Prakash Shetty and Prabhakar Shetty expressed their views and wished the students good luck.

Also, in this occasion Chief Minister honored and congratulated - Jayaram N. Shetty- president of M. S. Shetty educational committee, Dr. Shridhar Shetty- Principal of M. S. Shetty College, Seema Sablok- Principal of M. S. Shetty Junior College and the heads of various departments.

Padmanabha S. Payyade- Vice President of the association, Mahesh S. Shetty- Joint Treasurer, Mrs. Latha Jayaram Shetty- president of women division, Vivek V. Shetty- president of Youth division, Annappa M. Shetty- vice President of higher educational committee, Bhaskar Shetty Karnaad- Secretary and CA Ramesh A. Shetty- Treasurer were present on the dais.

Shailaja A. Shetty recited the prayer, CA I. R. Shetty- Hon. Treasurer introduced the chief guest- Fadnavis to the gathering. Jaya A. Shetty, Vijetha S. Shetty, and Ashok compered the program. Hon. Secretary- Mohandas Shetty rendered the vote of thanks.

As a part of Cultural program Deepak Rai and team of Namma TV “Bale Thelipule” Performed humourous performances, Prakash K. and Dinesh Nayak performed musical events.
