Ramavami was celebrated with all joy and excitement in Adamar Mutt, Mumbai

Mumbai, Mar. 27: The Adamar Mutt is one among the eight mutts in Udupi. The 22nd annual Ramanavami was celebrated with religious and cultural glory with all excitement in Adamar Mutt, Mumbai. The Swamiji of Adamar Mutt- Shri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji worshipped God by performing all the rituals and celebrated the Ramanavami.


Swamiji expressed his views related to Ramanavami, preached and blessed all the people present on the occasion.

The various religious programs were held including Mahapooja and Annasantharpane. Ramayana harikatha and Pallakki utsav was conducted by Shrinivas Bhat in the evening. Utsav Bali was performed by Suresh Bhat Kuntadi. Shri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji initiated the program by pulling the elephant chariot. After the Mahapooja Theertha Prasadam was distributed to all the devotees.

During the cultural program, members of Charkop group, Vittala Bhajana Mandali and Vagdevi Bhajana Mandali presented Hari bhajans. The students of Amitha kala mandira and Arpita Poojary performed Bharatanatyam and yakshagaana was performed by the members of Nagesh Meera road group.

Vasudeva Udupa, Krishnaraja Upadhyaya Vamanjoor, Shankara Narayana Kalyanithaya, Shridhar Bhat, Shripathi Bhat Amboli, Various priests, devotees were all present in the occasion. The head of Adamar Mutt Mumbai branch- Laxminarayana Muchinthaya welcomed the gathering and compered the program. The manager of Adamar mutt Mumbai branch- Padubidri V. Rajesh Rao proposed the vote of thanks.
