Samyamindra Teertha is the only Guru for all GSB Community

Mumbai, Nov.21: A liege assembly towards Shrimad. Sudhindra Teertha Swamiji and Samyamindra Teertha Swamiji of Kashi Mutt was held by all GSB institutions, Mumbai and the members of Gowda Saraswat Brahmin community of Maharashtra and Gujarat State on Sunday at Cultural and Recreational Center ground, N. L. Complex, Dahisar (E).

Initially pooja was performed to Lord Shri Vittala Rukumai at Mandir. Later senior members of the GSB Community began the general assembly. Veda Murthy Bantwal Krishna Bhat performed Aarati to the picture of Bhuvanendra Teertha.

Leaders expressed their views in the occasion. And the members of GSB Community said “Samyamindra Teertha- successor of Sudhindra Teertha is our only Guru. We will not accept anyone else as our Guru. We do not know who is Shivananda Pai Chotu”. Members of GSB community repeated the slogans Chotu Ko Bhaghavo… Chotu Bhaghavo… and reiterated their liege towards Swamiji.

Bantwal Krishna Bhat, Baburaya Shenoy, Ashok Nayak, NandaKumar Kudwa, Narasimhamurthy Pai were felicitated at the program.

Nagendra Shenoy Mangalore, Mohandas Malya, Justice M. V. Kini, Raghunandana S. Kamath (Natural), J. D. Rao, Kundapura Srinivas Prabhu, G. Suresh Kamath, Padmanabha Shenoy, Jitendra Nayak Nagpur, K.R. Malya, M. Uday Padiyar, Sanooru Manohar V. Kamath and others were present at the program.

Sathish R. Nayak, Suguna K. Kamath, Ramanath Kini, Ramesh Bhandarkar J. P. Kamath and other leaders were present at the program.

G. G. Prabhu- chairman of Shri Kashi Mutt, welcomed the gathering. R. G. Bhat and Vinaya Varada Malya compered the program. Umanath Kamath proposed the vote of thanks.
