Shri Gopalakrishna of Gokula at Sion Temporarily Shifted and Installed at Balalaya of Nerul Seawoods

Mumbai, January 02: Lord Shri Gopalakrishna of “Gokul”, Sion which was installed a decades ago by South Canara Brahmin’s Association of Mumbai and Gopalakrishna Public Trust is temporarily shifted to Balalaya of Nerul Seawoods, for the renovation and construction work at “Gokul”. The shifted idol was teporarily installed at Balalaya of seawoods in a traditional way.

The chief priest of Muchuru Hari Bhat received the idol and performed the pooja in the morning. Vidwan Vedamurthy Muralidhara Tanthry Edapadau performed the Panchavimshathi kalasha, Ganayaga, Pradhana Homa, Thathwa Kalasha Homa and bimba Prathishta. GTP President Dr Suresh S Rao and Vijayalaxmi S Rao, other office bearers and the trust member of Gopalakrishna Public Trust Krishna Acharya brought the idol of Shri Gopalakrishna to the third floor with Bhajan and traditional band set and installed it in a silver arch decor. Priests done the pooja and abhisheka to the divine idol and blessed the devotees.

During the occasion, vice-president Vamana Holla and P Umesh Rao, honarary chief secreatary P C N Rao, honarary treasurer CA.Haridas Bhat, joint secreatary Chandrashekhar Bhat, Prashanth Herle, the president of womens’ wing -Shailini Rao, B Ramananda Rao, Chief of the “Ashraya” Chandravathi Rao, former president K Subbanna Rao, executive committee member P V Aithal, H B L Rao and hundreds of devotees were present.
