Mumbai, Feb. 15: As a part of 49th annual celebration of Shri Shani Mahatma Mandira, the cultural programme was held here on Sunday afternoon at Billawa Bhavana Santacruz (E) under the leadership of Shri Shani Mahatma Seva Samiti ®.
Nithyananda D. Kotian – the President of Billawa Association Mumbai, Advocate Seetharam Shetty, businessman Prakash Moodabidri were were present as guests for the stage programme.
Shridhar J. Bangera - the Honorary President of Seva committee, Narayana G. Kotian – the Trustee member, Nagesh G. Suvarna – the Honorary Chief Treasurer, Kesari B. Amin of Women’s council and other office bearers were present on the dais. Shankara D. Poojary – the Vice President of Billawa Association Mumbai, Smt. Shankuntala K. Kotian – the Executive President of women wing, and Bharathi Nittekar felicitated M. S. Rao Charkope and Shyamraj Shetty on this occasion.
At the beginning of the programme, an obituary was given to BhoojaBabuSuvarna who gave his service to the committee for last four decades and died last Saturday.
Devendra V. Bangera the Vice President, C. N. Shetty – the Joint Assistant Secretary, Ramesh N. Poojary, Jayaram Shetty, Vinod Y. Hejamady – the Joint Treasurer, R. D. Kotian the Executive President, Shobha V. Kotian – the Joint Organizing Secretary of Women’s Committee, Vasu P. Shetty and Vasu S. Kotiyan – the Trustee members and others were present on the occasion.
Shankar K. Suvarna -the President of Seva Committee delivered introductory speech. Shobha Poojary recited the prayer. Yogish K. Hejamady – the Honorary Chief Secretary of Committee introduced the guests and compered the programme. Harish Shetty of cultural committee proposed the vote of thanks.
As a part of cultural programme, children of the committee members performed cultural programme. Tulu Yakshaganabayalata ‘Devu Poonja Prathapa’ was exhibited by Shri Guru Narayana YakshaganaMandali, Mumbai
