YOUTH SHOULD LEAD THE SOCIETY: JAYA C SUVARNA

Mumbai, November 15: “The future of the nation is in the hands of youth, the total development of the nation can be achieved by the leadership of the youngsters. So youngsters must take a lead role in the society. The programmes which are organized to inspire the youth should become successful. This Billawara Association is a boon and guide to lakhs of people. By participating in Quit India Movement-Damodara Bangera of our community strived for our independence. He was imprisoned for hoisting the flag at Mumbai High Court. The letter which was written by Mahathma Gandhi to Damodara Bangera, by calling him as “Bahaddur” is a proof for this. Our youngsters should get the inspiration from these geniuses. If we live for others, then only our life will flourish”-said Jaya C Suvarna-the president of Rashtriya Billawara Mahamandala and Executive president of Bharath Bank. 

Jaya C Suvarna said these words during his inaugural address of “Billawara Yuvothsava” organized by Yuvabhudaya sub-committee of Billawara association at Billawa Bhavana of Sri Guru Narayana road at Santhacruz (E). 

The inaugural programme which was presided by Nithyananda D Kotian-the president of the Billawara Association, the directors-K N Suvarna, Bhaskar M Salian, Gangadhar J Poojary, Suryakanth J Suvarna and vice-president-Raja V salian, Bhaskar V Bangera, Shankara D Poojary, Dr.U Dhajanjaya Kumar, honarary treasurer Mahesh Karkala, executive president of the women’s wing Shakunthala K Kotian were present at the dais.

“Life of our elders should become a role model to us. If we follow the model-life of our parents and senior citizens then our life will also become a role model to others. If we give importance to harmony in life, then only our life will become become great.” Said K N Suvarna.

The members of youth wing Harish G Salian, Sadashiva A Karkera, Ravindra A Amin, Nagesh M Kotian, Rajith L Suvarna, Deepak suvarna, Lathesh M Poojary, Yashwanth Poojary Palimaru, Gopal K Salian, youth wing heads of local and coordination committee, office bearers were present.

The executive president of youth wing Nilesh Poojary Palimaru welcomed all. Dhananjaya S Kotian delivered the introductory speech, sang the prayer and conducted the programme. The office bearers offered the bouquets to the guests. Ravi A Sanil, Akshay Poojary, Anusha Mohan Poojary, Ashish Billawa and others conducted the “Yuvothsava” contest. Umesh N Kotian-the honarary secretary of youth wing proposed the vote of thanks.
