CULTURAL PROGRAMME-GOLDEN JUBILEE SOUVENIR RELEASE
Mumbai: The golden jubilee celebration of Shani Mahatma temple managed by Shri Shani Mahatma Seva samithi (R) was held on Sunday at Billawa Bhavan, Santhacruze (W). Nithyananda D Kotian presided over the programme. Jaya C Suvarna – the president of Rashtriya Billawara Maha Mandala, the chief guest of the function, inaugurated the function and released the souvenir “Khar Shanishwar”.
Damodar C Kundar, Advocate S B Amin, Dr Rajshekar R Kotian, Advocate Seetaram Shetty, Ashok Moodabidre, Diwakar Amin, CA Prakash Shetty, Nagesh Shetty Bharathi Nittekar, Umesh Kaup, Shamaraj Shetty Haridas G Shetty Vidyavihar were present and honored the persons who rendered the service for the welfare of the temple.
Sridhar J Bangera, Devendra V Bangera, Nagesh G Suvarna, Kesari B Amin Prakash Moodabidre were present at the dais and honored Yogesh K Hejmady and Leela Yogesh couples for their service. At the beginning of the programme pooja was performed to Shri Shanaishchar. Shobha Pujary sang the prayer. Shankar K Suvarna welcomed all. Shridhar J Bangera delivered the introductory speech. Nagesh G Suvarna introduced the awardees. Yogesh K Hejmady introduced the guests and compeered the programme Ramesh N Pujary proposed the vote of thanks.
Committee members and Children performed the skit “swarna Shanishwara”. They also exhibited the drama “Manni” narrated by Naushil Mehtha and directed by Lathesh Mohan Pujary. Sachin Pujary and Harishchandra Shetty compeered the cultural programme.
