The solemnity of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel was solemnly celebrated at Bengaluru

The solemnity of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel was solemnly celebrated on 22nd of July at Sadbhavana, Carmelite Provincialate, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru.

The solemn celebration began with the procession in honour of Mother Mary. The statue of Mother Mary was brought by the priests from Heralds of Gospel Congregation and was taken in procession on the streets of Rajajinagar which was followed by the Holy Eucharistic celebration. Rev. Fr. Dolphy Paias OFM CAP the provincial of the Capuchin friars was the main celebrant. After the Eucharisticcelebration, the blessed Scapulars of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel were distributed to the devotees who participated in the large number.

On this auspicious occasion,Carmelkutam (Carmel Family) of Bengaluru hosted a felicitation program during which they distributed the scholarship to the eight poor children. The fellowship meal was served to the devotees which was cooked by the carmel Kutam themselves.
