Two new branches of model bank will be inaugurated at Palghar and Vasai

Mumbai, May 23: The leaders from the Christian community of coastal Karnataka started “The Mangalore Catholic Co-operative Credit Society Limited”, and now it is named as Model Co-operative bank limited. Two new branches of the bank will be inaugurated at Palghar (W) and Vasai (W) on 28th and 29th of May.

The 17th branch of Model Co-operative bank, “The Excellent bank” award winner from The Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank’s Association and the Brihan Mumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks will be inaugurated on Saturday (28th May) at 11.00 AM, at Ramshree Varma Complex, near Ambedkar Chawk of Girish Nagar, Palghar (W). During this occasion, Rev. Fr.James D’silva – the chief parish priest of Nativity Church of Palghar will offer his blessings and Mrs.Sharada Rauth (IPS) Superintendent of police of Phalghar district will be present as the chief guest.

On Sunday (29th May) at 10.00 AM the 18th branch will be inaugurated at Cassia J building opposite to St.Ghonsalo Garshiya Church, New Barampur, Vasai (W). Vicar General of Vasai province Rev.Fr.Nazreth Gabru will offer his blessings. Richard Palkao-the retired director of Deutsche bank will bresent as chief guest.

Albert W D’souza – the executive director of Model Bank will be presided over the function. The Genral Manager and CEO William L D’souza requested all customers, shareholders and well-wishers to participate in the programme.
