Governor confers Honorary D.Sc. on RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat

Mumbai: The Governor of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu and Chancellor of Universities in the two States CH Vidyasagar Rao on Thursday (9 March) conferred the Honorary Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) on the Sarasanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Dr Mohan Bhagwat.

The honorary degree was presented by the Governor at the 8th Convocation of the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University in Nagpur.

Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister for Animal Husbandary, Dairy Development and Fisheries Mahadev Jankar, Director General of ICAR Dr Trilochan Mohapatra and Vice Chancellor of the University Dr A K Misra were present on the occasion. Dr Mohan Bhagwat had graduated in Veterinary Sciences from Nagpur.
