Governor visits Banganga Tank; to convene meeting for beautification of Bangana premises

The Governor of Maharashtra CH Vidyasagar Rao today visited the 12th Century Banganga Tank at Walkeshwar. The Governor also visited the Shantadurga Temple and the Walkeshwar Temple.


The Governor told the officials that he will be convening a meeting of the officials of State Archeology Department, Municipal Corporation, Trustees of the Gaud Saraswat Brahman Temple trust and others to discuss the restoration and beutifucation of the entire Banganga Temple complex.

Banganga Corporator Jyotsna Mehta, officials of BMC, State Government and trustees of Kavale Math were present.
