Maharashtra Governor greets people on Id Ul Fitr

Mumbai: The Governor of Maharashtra CH Vidyasagar Rao has greeted the people of Maharashtra on the occasion of Id-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan Id). A group of Muslims from Raj Bhavan family met the Governor and exchanged greetings with the Governor.

In a message, the Governor has said: “The holy month of Ramzan attaches great importance to fasting, prayers and charity leading to inner purity. It is an elevating experience for all those who observe it. I extend my heartiest greetings and good wishes to the people of Maharashtra, particularly Muslim brothers and sisters on the auspicious occasion of Id ul Fitr. May the festival bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all.”
