Mumbai Oct. 02 :- Detection Crime branch, CID Dahisar Unit 12 Mumbai officers & staff bursted an interstate gang of Habitual House Breaking offenders. On a reliable tip off and consistent work,out the unit nabbed 4 Delhi based crooks who use to visit Mumbai only to commit Day House breaking.

 

Members of the group are 1) Yasin Shaukat ali Ansari , age 34 yrs, 2) Mohd Ahemad Kallumiya Khan. age 54 yrs, 3) Mohd Ramzani Hanif Ansari , all from Delhi.They normally prefer to stay at cheap lodge/dormetories in South Mumbai, Bhendi Bazar locality . During afternoon hours ie 12.30 to 1400 hrs they target small societies without having watchmen or CCTV cameras, then one of them would physically check for locked flat by ringing the bell. Significantly they always do check shoes, Chappal laying out side the flat by sniffing them to confirm no one is at home. After confirmation the whole team would enter the flat by breaking open the door with the help of Katawani. The looted ornaments would be then handed over to their associate 4) Vishal @ Sudhir Maheshchandra Verma who with his influence in Zaveri Bazar can easily melt the property to encash it.

During the course of interrogation, they admitted 8 Day House breaking cases Property - cash of Rs 400000/-, two wrist watches, one Katavani, one screwdriver sized from the accused persons.

It is revealed that cash was stolen from jurisdiction of RAK Marg PS and CR No 244/16 U/s 454,380 IPC is registered reg the same. Also they revealed to have committed HBT in the jurisdiction of Dahisar PS. Hence, Yasin Shaukatali Ansari and Mohd Ahmed Kallumiya Khan were handed over to RAK marg PS and Mohd Ramzani Haneef Ansari and Sudhir Maheshchandra Verma were handed over to Dahisar PS.
