During the night duty on 22/23.07.2017, based on passenger profiling, a pax named Mr. Kandathil Mohamed Rafi (26) holding Indian passport, arrived from Dubai by Indigo flight # 6E 62 was intercepted. The search of his checked-in-baggage resulted into the recovery of copper colour coated gold wires collectively weighing 587 grams valued at Rs. 17,32,000/- which were stitched into embroidery panel of fabrics. The recovered gold wires were seized and a case was booked. The passenger Mr.Rafi is a native of Kasaragod (Kerala) and works as Salesman in Dubai.
