Political forces out to disturb harmony: Goa CM

Mumbai (The Hindu): Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Monday said some political forces are trying to disturb the State’s communal harmony for political gains.

“Goa’s communal harmony is a brand in itself. People of all religions and cultures stay in perfect peace because we respect each other’s religion, respect each other’s culture and participate in each other’s festivals,” Mr Parsekar.

“But some political forces are trying to disturb it. Therefore, it is important that people of Goa do not fall prey to it,” the chief minister said. without naming anyone.
