Two children aged 8 months and 9 years drowned

Mumbai: Two children aged 8 months and 9 years drowned after a 72-inch water pipeline burst in Indira Nagar near Bandra Terminus (East) on Friday around 10.30am. Disaster control officials said the 8-month-old, Vignesh Doiphode, was rushed to Bhabha hospital, but was declared dead on arrival. His sister, Priyanka Dohiphode, 9, was taken to VN Desai hospital, where she was declared brought dead. Officials said they checking the cause of the pipe burst. in Mumbai on Friday.
