Vidyasagar Rao released photographer Ayesha Taleyarkhan’s pictorial Coffee Table book ‘Under the Sun

Mumbai Sept. 30:  The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao released photographer Ayesha Taleyarkhan’s pictorial Coffee Table book ‘Under the Sun – Business As Usual’ at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said the book has captured the diversity, plurality, contradictions and peculiarity of Mumbai through captivating images. The Governor remarked that the book is a tribute to the common man of Mumbai.

Noting that Mumbai is one of the most humane cities which had a tradition of philanthropy, the Governor called for reviving the culture of giving in society.

Vice Chancellor of University of Mumbai Sanjay Deshmukh, writer Shobha De, former Sheriff Indu Shahani, Ranjit Shahani, journalist Darryl D’monte and others were present.
